We started Town Planner Pro to join up the site work planning professionals do every day. The idea is simple: bring the constraints, casework and development-plan context into one place, on the device you actually carry on site, and make it look the part when it reaches a client.

It’s deliberately a tool, not an adviser. The AI is a planning research assistant: it frames the law, policy and considerations from the data you give it, scoped to UK planning. The professional judgement stays with you.

That is a design decision, not a limitation. It’s built for people who already know what the tilted balance is and when it applies, so it lays the material out to the standard you work to and leaves the judgement where it belongs. It doesn’t advise you, because you’re the one who advises. Anyone earlier in their career gets the same structure to work to, which is a good way to learn the discipline.
